24 June . Journey from Home to Hirtshals harbor in Danmark

Hirtshals Harbor

Long day today. Had a11 hour car journey...1068km from Home to Hirtshals. They say that holidays start from day one. Well I didn't like this one.... :-(

The traffic was OK... No jams at all. I just lost 1 hour driving through Hamburg.

What was really astonishing was the difference driving in Belgium or Germany compared to driving in Danmark. So calm out there, and super clean. No speed guys in BMW or Audi ...relaxed driving at 100%. The only difficulty = signs/directions in Danish. But the GPS lady in my car was very helpfull. She brought me to the right place immediately . Great invention.

I stay in hotel Skaga near the harbor. I need to check in at Smyril lines tomorrow at 13h. So I went  to the harbor in order to see where I need to be!  Easy job ;-) Clear location .
